Do I need to fire my phone company?

Don’t worry. This question came only when the phone company isn’t working well when I needed it the most. There are times that I’m contemplating to use such “skype hype” technology out there because of the praises screamed from mountaintops about the efficiency of this service.

It provides its users with a wealth of benefits. I already have a computer, an internet connection and a headset. These are all I need to go with VoIP. The popular advantages of VoIP services powered by Phone Power sounds very convincing and I want to give it a try especially that VoIP services represent an excellent savings for my pocket, and the efficiency with which VoIP services operate are unmatched when compared to any other type of telephone services. I could have unlimited communications with whoever I want anywhere throughout the world. This would be great because it means I could call my parents and parents-in-law without worrying for the phone bills…he..he..Just imagine calling my family in Philippines with a rate of 20 THB per minute- it’s more expensive than calling my friends in Australia and America.

VoIP will be the new wave in telecommunications in the future, no doubt with that. I gotta check it with my husband first if we gonna secure voip service. We gonna look into VoIP, and if we agree maybe we’ll sign up for its cost-effective services and reap the benefits immediately…hopefully….

New Visas for my friends

I'm so grateful to God for the favor He bestowed upon my friends. In my previous posts, I mentioned about my prayer about my friends' visas and God answered that! Just this week, the two of them Y and F just came back from Penang, Malaysia and were granted three-month Non-Immigrant B visas! We're so thankful to God for their work, for their papers and for the provision. Glory and honors belong only to our God!

After three months, they will be allowed to extend their visa for a year here in our city. No need to go to Malaysia. It's a great blessing because nowadays a lot of Filipinos are coming over to work as English teachers and a lot of them are still waiting for job opportunities. They're just carrying tourist visa for only 15 days! My friends were already set free from "border hopping" every 2 weeks. Thank you, Lord!

I'm joining a Slogan Contest

I'm inspired to join another contest after Mr. G. gave me back my PR1 after I lost it last month when I moved to my new domain.

This time the contest is about slogan-making hosted by two gorgeous sisters of Rosilie: My Blog and Anything Under the Sun. It just started last May 20 and will end on June 20, 2009. All you need to do is you must have a unique slogan about blog or blogging. You could enhance it through any decent and unique graphics. Oh my, I think I don't have this skill but anyway here's my entry:

I chose this slogan because for me all the written ideas, experiences, opinions and stories in blogging is a deep sharing of one's self/life to unknown readers whom the writer believes can be blessed ...because the writer cares for them.

According to the hosts, the winning entries shall be used as blog shirt prints. Any sale made from these prints will entitle the winning entrant a 10% commission according to the Philippine Peso and US Dollar equivalents. This commission shall be paid through Paypal account of the winning entrant. Isn't this great?

Mommy Moments- Hyzyd's First Haircut

It's Hyzyd's first nanny, a Thai grandma who insisted us to cut Hyzyd's hair before he barely reached his 3 months . Her reasons, it causes Hyzyd's rashes (?) and so that Hyzyd will feel fresh. His curly, thick hair contributes to his "sweaty" condition.

This is Hyzyd before his haircut...His hair is not that "thick" as what Grandma Paa described.

The daddy as the skilled barber cut Hyzyd's hair while he's sleeping....

and VOILA!...here's our li'l boy with his new hair!

He's feeling refreshed indeed!

at seven months, he still have his hairstyle which he got from his first haircut...I wonder why it didn't grow thicker?....
