Wanna wake up looking younger?

It's almost a month now that I found out about Scrubs Magazine and take time reading some healthful and beauty tips before going to bed. By the way, Scrubs Magazine is an online magazine for nurses as a guide to good living but I find it very reader-friendly for it caters both nurses and ordinary people. It's inspiring, uplifting, and timely yet original . You'll find topics or tips about de-stressing mind, health tips, fashion tips, beauty tips and secrets, work behavior, money matters, news and entertainment and even tackles about love issues!

One interesting topic that I wanna share with you is about Wake Up Looking Younger by Anita Bruzzese. Who doesn't want to wake up in the morning feeling younger, beautiful and refreshed? One tip that I want to apply starting tonight is to sleep on my back. You see, I used to fall face down on the mattress after dealing with my learners, co-teachers and needy baby all day. Sleeping on one side too much—or on your stomach—can lead to more wrinkles (this explains why I started to have wrinkles...he..he..). I now know that to avoid morning eye puffiness when fluid collects in that area, I'll either raise the head of my bed several inches or I'll sleep on a couple of pillows.

I'm glad for this helpful tips she shared and I'm sure I can wake up tomorrow looking refreshed and, yes, younger!

I can't help spreading the "Scrubs"!

I just finished chatting with a friend who's currently a student nurse in Mindanao. She asked me about some historical site here in Thailand which is not yet too popular so that she could report about it as part of their project in History and Literature. After suggesting some historical sites I found here in Songkhla, I informed her about the new online magazine I discovered which is very indispensable for her- the Scrubs Magazine (Nurse's Guide to Good Living). Unlike other clinical sites where ordinary people felt rather out-of-place because of confusing medical terminology when visiting these sites,Scrubs' site is quite the opposite. It's reader-friendly (caters both nurses and ordinary people), inspiring, uplifting, and timely yet original . You'll find topics or tips about de-stressing mind, health tips, fashion tips, beauty tips and secrets, work behavior, money matters, news and entertainment and even tackles about love issues! She visited and explored the sites and thank me for showing her one of the coolest nurse's sites she ever found!

I can't help telling my friends about this site because I learned a lot from it. One of the things that I become versed and had adapted in my lifestyle is about the Gratitude Walk. The author claimed that rest and regrouping is essential to balance our life and to take charge of our unique stress as a health professional. Part of her own regimen is the gratitude walk- walking while expressing gratitudes in life. I started doing it last week. After coming back at home after class at 4:00 pm, I took a walk with my baby around our neighborhood. Same with the author,I started with the basics like gratitude for being able to walk, talk, use my hands, and being with my family. I acknowledge my fortune that God has allowed me to wake up that morning, the gift of another day, the air I breathe. My thoughts turn to the people in my life and opportunities to learn and grow. I feel tremendous gratitude to have a job in a profession I love.I am amazed every day how much lighter and more empowered I feel by this simple, quick regimen.

Try visiting this site and share to me what tips you find very helpful. See it for yourself!
