Be happy!

Are you happy? I am 100% happy. I have Jesus Christ in my heart. He teaches me to happy even on small things. He gave me wisdom on how to be happy no matter what life throws at me.

My friends, Marce K, Marce Seiko and Tetcha gave me a Happy 101 Award. Thank you so much. You make me happier.

Here are some of the reasons that contribute to my happiness:

Studies on what makes people happy reveal that it doesn't have much to do with material goods or high achievement; it seems to whittle down to your outlook on life, and the quality of your relationships with the people around you. If you appreciate your life you are sure to be a happy person!

Feeling "Over the Top" amidst the crying babies and hungry tummy

Yesterday, was a very trying moment of my life. It's my schedule to help pre-school teachers babysit Anuban 1 learners (ages 3). As early as 7:30 am in the morning, the school was already filled with students howling in unison! My eardrum nearly give way of the high-pitched cry of around 500 children. I don't know what to do! I tried to comfort a child, but when I spoke some soothing words, the kid just bawled louder with crossed eyebrows because of the foreign words I'm saying! I tried another strategy, I carried the child and hummed lullabies but after 10 minutes, I gave up because my arm cramped. Too bad for me, I carried the heaviest child of the group...ha..ha..ha.

At 10:00 am, I heard my tummy growling and asking for food. This is what happened when you ate your breakfast as early as 6:00 am. I couldn't sneak out for snacks...I'm surrounded with crying babies. We're only 5 teachers babysitting almost 40 toddlers! We should be with these toddlers during playing time, eating time, and toilet time.

I felt relieved when it's finally time to go home around 12 noon but unfortunately my hungry tummy was forced to wait for another 30 minutes! We can't leave unless the last child will be picked up! One "canteen lady" got a rather snotty manner which can be a bit off-putting. It's her first time meeting me in that department and wonder why I'm there and that I'm not on the list! Honestly, though I don't usually get flared up, at that time I felt my blood rushing on my head and my temper started to boil my "humanity". But before anything will happen, I whispered a silent prayer asking God for strength to make me compose even in this trying situation. Before I could blurt out that it's fine and I could buy my own food ( a complete opposite of what my heart is dictating) God sent a rescuer. Our assistant principal demanded her to give me my share and informed her that I'm the new English teacher of the pre-school department. I didn't have time to see her reaction coz my eyes were only fixed on the food!...LOL!

I went back home with all my energy drained and slept for 3 straight hours to renew my strength.

Though my day was somewhat coated with not-so-well experiences with all those crying babies, growling tummy and ill-mannered person, I still felt "over the top" because I received an award from my amiable friend Meryl.

Back to Zero

Yeah...my PR is back to zero, the aftermath of buying a new domain. I don't know that there's a lot to be affected-PR, links, Alexa ranking, and account in "get paid to blog" companies (I sent tickets to support center to inform them of my new URL) ...he..he..a nice lesson for a newbie like me. So, if you plan to buy a domain for your blog, just be ready of the result, it's like starting all over again. Am I feeling downhearted? dispirited? Nope, he..he..I can say that it's not a problem. In the first place, I'm blogging without knowledge of PR and other blogging terms...I'm blogging because I love to see my journal online, meet friends, update my family of our happenings and express myself without the feeling of being criticized and ridiculed.

Anyway, with PR or without, I will still be here. I thank my friends who continued on visiting my site, giving comments, leaving messages in my cbox, tagging me and giving me awards. I love awards! I like this Friendship Award from Jes of My Little Angel and Miriam of Mom Writes for a Cause. Thank you for this , friends. The "Queen" in me

I never thought that I could be a queen...*wide grin*...but this morning, I was just awarded with a "Certified Queen of Blogs" award. I don't know what my newest friend Meryl sees in me that she chose me to have this award. Thank you friend. I'm truly honored! She's one of my friends who sees the "Queen" in me...he..he...

Now, I wanna share this award to Phebie. Why? Because she's the first blogger I met in blogosphere and became a sis. It's the thumbnail of her newly manicured nails in one of the blog lists that draws my attention to visit her blog...he..he...such a cute way of knowing someone. Anyway, at that time, I just I missed having beautiful and neat manicure because in here, I'm not satisfied with their service so I'm just contented with a clean and trimmed nails.
