Am I too B-U-S-Y?

I'm guilty of being soooooo BUSY. I have to admit that this past few days I'm too busy that I decrease my time of just being still to be with God, I just read a chapter a day instead of 2 or more and just do quick prayers. Satan knew that as long as we CHRISTIANS stay close to God he and his demons have no power over us so as much as possible they do the following to keep us away from God:

(1) Keep us busy with non-essentials.
(2) Tempt us to overspend and go into debt.
(3) Make us work long hours to maintain empty lifestyles.
(4) Discourage us from spending family time, for when homes disintegrate there's no refuge from work.
(5) Overstimulate our minds with television, computers, internet, blogging so that we can't hear God speaking to us.
(6) Fill our dashboards with opportunities,and our coffee tables and nightstands with newspapers and magazines so we've no time for Bible reading.
(7) Flood our letter boxes with sweepstakes, promotions and get-rich-quick schemes; keep us chasing material things.
(8) Put glamorous models on TV and on magazine covers to keep us focused on outward appearances; that way we'll be dissatisfied with ourselves and their mates.
(9) Make sure couples are too exhausted for physical intimacy; that way we'll be tempted to look elsewhere.
(10) Emphasize Santa and the Easter Bunny; that way we'll be diverted from the real meaning of the holidays.
(11) Involve us in 'good' causes so we won't have any time for 'eternal' ones.
(12) Make us self-sufficient. Keep us so busy working in our own strength that we'll never know the joy of God's power working through us.

Have you figured out the difference between being busy and being successful in what God's called us to do? Sometimes being B-U-S-Y just means Being Under Satan's Yoke! Christians, let's be aware!

I woke up early this morning and paused before entering the day. I had so much to accomplish that I had to take time to pray...a true and honest prayer it was!
