How to Make Blog Badge/Buttons

After I joined First Commenter's Club, I came to realize that I don't yet own a blog badge/button. It will be better if I'll become the FC, the blog owner will post my blog badge/button at the bottom of his/her post. This will help increase my traffic and my PR. I think my PR is still 0:(. If anybody know how I'll be able determine my PR, just post your comment here and it will be very helpful for me.

Anyway, I started to look at other badges and I read photobucket. I uploaded a picture and then edited it. After that, I wonder "What's next?". It's good to stumble on Zakkalife . Her tutorial is made simple and easy to follow. It doesn't even require HTML knowledge.

But I got a problem on the link she told the readers about the code box for people to see your "badge HTML". It doesn't work well for me. I came to a site where it posted about Comment Box Colors. I choose the Button color and it's original box looks like the one below:

Could anybody help me out here?

Hi ....thank you so much for taking time to read this post...Hope you can help me...I need help for the following:

1. Is there a system that prompt me or notify me that somebody give her/his comments on the posts? Honestly, I just click on "Edit Post" to take a look if somebody give comments. When I give comments to other bloggers, they were able to reply in just a wink of an eye and that amazed me.

2. I registered at SocialSpark and after submitting my blog I need to get the CODES. It directs me to "Please copy and paste this block of code anywhere between the < /body > and before the < /body >tags of your blog's template". Does this mean I'll paste this to "Edit HTML" of my blog. I've tried it but it's not working.

I'm so grateful for whatever tips and advices you could give to a newbie like me.

Changes at Paying Post

It's been a while that I visited my paying post account. I just enjoy blogging while waiting for my blog to mature. Last week when I re-visited the site, I'm surprised of the new features they have which is more attractive than before. Furthermore, I'm glad that there's a change in their policy of sending unpaid earnings. You will not wait to reach $50 threshold before they'll send you the payment. They cut it down to $25. I need to make another $15 though to receive my first payment.

I'll be teaching Anuban 2!

This truth gave a chill to my nerves...It was confirmed that I'll be teaching Anuban 2. This is equivalent to Kindergarten level. I'll be teaching 3-4 years old children.

Just this afternoon, The English Department Head confronted me about "my decision" to teach Anuban 2 instead of Prathom 2 (Grade 2) as informed to her by our Assistant principal. I corrected her that it's not MY decision to transfer to Anuban 2 instead it's the Assistant Principal who relayed to me the news last week that the school's Manager wanted to know if it's OK for me to teach the said level. I said that it's OK for me if my MANAGER wanted me to teach Anuban 2 but if given a CHOICE I would rather choose Grade 2 because I'm familiar with them (not to mention that teaching ENGLISH to 3-4 years children is very,very challenging!). I also told her that I'm still waiting for the confirmation of my re-assignment. She said she'll convince them that I'll stay with Grade 2 and they'll just hire someone to teach Anuban 2. I'm a little bit flattered of the comment she uttered on wanting me to stay in Grade 2 because I'm a good and creative teacher of this level....Hmmmmm...

After 2 hours, she came back to me and gave me the "nerve-wrecking" news. I said it's OK for me to teach but now that it's confirmed it's seems that I wanted to run and hide away from this future responsibility.

When I'll be teaching kindergarten, I'll lost the privilege of one-week break every THAI TEST. There are three major THAI TEST in a semester. In teaching kindergarten, we're required to make our own worksheet and check it.

In order to avoid the heavy feeling, I look at the brighter sides of teaching kindergarten instead of dwelling on the hardship of teaching kindergarten. I came up with this advantages:

1. I'll have THAI assistant teachers who will help organized the children. Peace and order will be maintained (this seldom happens to my Grade 2 class).

2. I will only teach 30 minutes per session instead of an hour.

3. Kindergarten children are still cute and cuddly. They'll not smell bad in the middle of the day...he..he...

4. I'll have Anuban fans...this children always calls your name everytime they see you and give you a hug and some of them will even dare to give you a kiss....

5. My love for children will be developed as well as my patience...

6. This children will listen and keep quiet when you raise your voice...actually I hate raising voices to children but I usually do it with my Grade 2's with matching "big eyes" when they started to become restless and ran around the classroom and playing "tag".

I hope I can find more good reasons of teaching kindergarten to make enjoy my teaching career here in Thailand where ENGLISH language is not well-practiced because it's not well-accepted except for few.
