Ezy roller and other unique and personalized gift items for your kids

One of my new year's resolution this new year is to find the kind of unique gift for my Hyzyd to adore. I browse the "aisles" of Posy Lane to find that unique and personalized gift items for kids. Here's the top 3 that I pick:

1. Ezy roller- It combines the control of a bike and the fun of a scooter, it’s one unique ride and it’s super fun!

The Ezy-Roller uses a locomotion principle called cambering motion. It uses a simple left / right movement (in this case created by the legs pushing on the moving front bar) to create an action / reaction very similar to the one used by snakes. Kids as young as three can master the art of the Ezy roller but at Posy lane, you can find the Ezy roller for Junior as young as 2! This would be a perfect gift for Hyzyd when he reaches 2 on October!

2. personalized pillowcases- Hyzyd loves pillows. Everytime he see one, he couldn't resist to "dive" on it, roll over it and just simply lay on the pillow while I do something else. When he's not in a mood just offer him a pillow and tantrums will be gone...LOL! Now that he's almost 15 months old, I wanted to buy him new standard sized pillows (19"x29") fitted in pillow cases with his name on it! It's adorable and I'm sure he's going to love it and with his name added on it just adds that extra touch to make him really special.

3. nap mat-I need one more nap mat for Hyzyd. Having a nap mat can also help make nap time more inviting for my him. Nap mats can easily be rolled up which makes them great for traveling with. I'm looking for nap mats that come with built in pillows and blankets that are sewn onto one side of the mat, making sleeping on it much more comfortable. With this, it may help him look forward to napping.

Do you have any ideas of unique and personalized gift items for your kids? I love to hear from you.

Nap time needs nap mat and a backpack for a diaper bag

Two more weeks and my baby will turn 1! Time flies so fast that soon he'll be in day care. I see to it that the specified time I set-up for him for regular naps will be continued. It is important to his health and development. I learned from his pediatrician that establishing a regular nap time can help avoid some kids sleeping problems and will keep them happy, healthy and more alert.

How about if my baby will be in day care? Here in our school, their daycares have a specified nap time set-up that all toddlers have to follow. What if my toddler may find it difficult to sleep somewhere that isn't his home? I hope sending along one of his favorite stuffed toys for him will help him settle down with at nap time. They said that having a familiar comfort from home can often help.

I learned from my Thai co-teachers that having a nap mat can also help make nap time more inviting when your toddler is away from home. Nap mats can easily be rolled up which makes them great for traveling with. Some nap mats even come with built in pillows and blankets that are sewn onto one side of the mat, making sleeping on it much more comfortable. They can also be sent along to your toddler's daycare, which may help him look forward to napping.

Talking about nap mat, I found at Posy Lane mint nap mats that are padded and lined with nylon and cotton with a ribbon trimmed, soft, fleecy blanket. It rolls up and has a Velcro closure with carrying strap. It has a soft fleece blanket attached and a removable foam pillow. To clean, you'll just remove kid and pillow, then toss the rest in the washing machine. It's perfect for daycare, preschool or kindergarten. For me, I'll buy this aqua nap mat for my little boy:

Another on-the-go products from Posy Lane that made me fell in love the first time I laid my eyes on it is their cute Sports Stephen Joseph quilted backpack. It is made made from vinyl and the backpack is very easy to take care of. You'll just wipe with a damp cloth. There is plenty of room for all of my child’s belongings . It is also ideal for use as a small diaper bag.The backpack is adorable just the way it is, but even cuter with my child’s name embroidered on it.

isn't this adorable?

By the way, my youngest sister will be coming over with my parents next week. I am eyeing for this Girls Rule Stephen Joseph Backpack for her. This is so cool for her especially when she'll use this back to school on November. She'll surely love this! I can't wait to purchase them all next month.

Thanks for the nap mat and for the promised gift ...

Hyzyd receives his fourth nap mat from a dear friend. What I love about it is it's padded and lined with nylon and cotton with a soft, fleecy blanket. It rolls up and has a Velcro closure with carrying strap. It has a soft blanket attached and a removable foam pillow. If I need to wash it, I'll just remove the pillow, then toss the rest in the washing machine. No wonder that my preschool learners also uses nap mats in school.

By the way, do you remember the towel wrap that my hubby promised to buy for me this coming August to celebrate Mother's day here in Thailand? Well, I'm pretty excited about it! Can't wait to use it on our another planned getaway!

Before I'll forget, I'm wondering if this personalized Pink Pony Mint laundry bag could be a nice birthday gift for my preggy sis-in-law? I just want to give her something unique and useful. What do you think?
