too dismayed...

I supposed to rehearse last Saturday and Sunday on tambourine dancing but I was too dismayed that I wasn't able to. The weather's gone bad and I just couldn't live the house without Hyzyd on tow. If I will leave him, his dad have to deal with his unbelievable tantrums. If I will bring him with me with the rain's pouring, he'll surely catch cold and I couldn't deal with that. He just finished his medication for the cold he caught last week. Hyzyd is easy to deal with but if he has cold, his tantrums could be quite challenging!

Supposed to be we'll go with his dad rafting today, but on the last minute we've decided that it won't be good to bring Hyzyd with our unpredictable weather. So, we hope his dad enjoyed his rafting with our church mates in Satun.

So what we do today to keep Hyzyd busy? We play colorful alphabet refrigerator magnet frames and watched and joined the Mommy and Me playgroup.

By the way, if you want to order refrigerator magnets online with customized designs and your photos on them, try to visit refrigeratormagnets.com.

Happy Birthday Marce Kaye!

Happy Birthday to Marce Kaye, one of the best blog designers I've seen in the blogosphere. Check out her works at WAHMaholic's Design and you'll be impressed for life! She's also one of the bloggers that you can't ignore. I love to read anything in her posts- post with a blend of humor with knowledge and information.

Marce Kaye, I pray for your happiness, of course, but also for a greater sense of fulfillment in your work, an ease of communication with those you love, and a sense of satisfaction in all that you have accomplished. Above all, may you rest secure in the knowledge of God's constant love and care for you, personally. I pray for smiles and love, for friends that are true. I pray for sunshine, for warmth and tenderness. I pray for unexpected moments of joy and laughter. But most of all, I pray for peace for you.

I am thinking of you on your birthday and holding you close to my heart. My prayer for you this day and everyday is for a sense of fulfillment ... for a feeling of closeness to those you love ... for confidence and enjoyment in all that makes you special to others ... and for a deep and abiding peace within.

May God keep you in touch with all that you are and all that you are meant to become.

Girls Talk: Spiritually Speaking...

I usually post my Girl's Talk entries at Fashion Explorer but for the meantime it's still on it's propagating stage coz I transferred my hosting to Rubz Online Hosting , I will post my entry for this week in this site.

As I started learning tambourine dancing, I searched every now and then in Youtube about tambourine dancing. Once as I viewed the tambourine dancing of "Awesome in this Place", I can't help but irked on one person's comment. He said that though it's a nice presentation, it's just a waste of time for dedicating it to a God that doesn't exist. Why does he has to be such a crank about it? It saddened me every time I hear and read people's public confession of their unbelief on God.

I am not ashamed to confess to the world that I'm a Christian. I'm a Christian not because my father is a Minister nor because I grew up in a Christian family. I'm a Christian because I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior and I believe that the Bible is the Word of God. It is through the Bible that I came to know more of God and His wonderful plan for my life. The Bible is as high above all other books as the heavens are above the earth. Someone has said of the Bible: "Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe and practice it to be right".

Amidst my pretty tight schedules, I see to it that I read and study God's Word. I felt incomple if I fail to read in a day. I read about at least a chapter early in the morning, another chapter during lunchbreak ( I brought The Christian Life New Testament (KJV) Bible at school) and another chapter before going to sleep. God's Word is my spiritual food. When I fail to study God's Word, I stop growing. When I cease to grow spiritually, I started deteriorating immediately. When I stop climbing, I start slipping. I can never arrive spiritually in this life; there is always a higher plateau to be reached.

If reading God's Word is my spiritual food, PRAYER is my spiritual breath. It is a rare privilege to pray because it brings me into close fellowship with God, admitting my need to Him and my utter dependence upon Him.

I have full FAITH in God. I believe that God is working out His perfect plan in my life and because of this I can wait, endure and suffer. Having faith in God does not make anything easy but it does make all things possible.

Am I religious? Nope. All roads may lead to Rome but all religions do not lead to God and Salvation. There is only one way and that way is God's way and God's way is a person and that person is His Son, the Lord jesus Christ (John 14:6). Christianity is not a religion or philosophy but a relationship and lifestyle. The core of that lifestyle is thinking of others, as Jesus Christ did, instead of ourselves.

Am I spiritually matured? I can't really tell because it can't be measured by the amount of Biblical information and doctrines I know. I still have ups and downs in my spiritual life. I still have bundle of flaws and imperfections. But I'm grateful for these because they forced me to lean on God.

It's my daily prayer that my deeds must be consistent with my creed and my belief must be backed up with Christlike behavior.

Poontoon Boat Cover

This is not a paid post. It's simply written to earn more points for the $300 Coach Bag Contest I've recently joined.

As I posted yesterday, we'll be going to Satun for rafting on Monday (July 26) . But because we have a toddler, it's not safe for me to join rafting with our little boy, it would be hubby who will enjoy the rafting . However, we'll have a great time swimming in the pool with other kids and will have a chance to ride on a poontoon boat. If that would be push through, it would be my first time to ride on a poontoon boat. I grew up riding on my grandfather's boat (he's a fisherman) but with a poontoon boat, it would be a different story.

pontoon boat

A pontoon is a flat-bottomed boat or the floats used to support a structure on water. It may be simply constructed from closed cylinders such as pipes or barrels or fabricated as boxes from metal or concrete. These may be used to support a simple platform, creating a raft. A raft supporting a house-like structure is one form of houseboat. The basic design is usually implemented as a simple catamaran or, with three rows of floats, a trimaran. A fixed platform can be used as a dock. They are popular with partygoers. They also offer the largest value in terms of capacity to price[citation needed]. As a result pontoons are typically purchased for pleasure boating rather than serious fishing .

By the way, if you happen to have your own poontoon boat, you need to invest on Poontoon Boat Cover. Your pontoon boat cover lengthens your boat's life, the cover reduces the need for repairs, your cover keeps the floors and upholstery in top condition, and the the cover keeps your boat safe during transit.

Thinking in the long term, there's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't have a high-quality, durable pontoon boat cover. Not only will it keep your boat safe, but it will also save you money. Visit Poontoon Boat Cover .org, your partner in looking for the best Pontoon Boat Cover available in the market.

White suit or Black suit for Hyzyd?

Every time we have program in school, I love taking photos of my students in their uniform. The boys look so cute and dashing on their suit with bow ties! This gives me an idea to buy one for Hyzyd and wear that one for his 2nd birthday photo shoot. I can't wait to see how great he'll look with this suit with bow tie. I've already seen one in Diana mall and it perfetly fits for him. The prices only ranges from ฿500-700.

My students with their black suit with red bow ties.

My students performing onstage

White suit with red bow ties look so neat and clean. I'm contemplating if I'll choose the black suit with red bow tie or while suit with red bow tie for Hyzyd. Which do you think is best for Hyzyd? Your suggestion will be appreciated.

Fun Family Vacations

This is not a paid post. It's simply written to earn more points for the $300 Coach Bag Contest I've recently joined.

We're excited for next week. We'll have 2-days holiday (26 July - Arsaraha Bucha Day. (Major Buddhist holiday, beginning of Buddhist lent) and 27 July - Civil servant holiday). We'll be going with our churchmates to Satun for rafting! Rafting or white water rafting is a challenging recreational outdoor activity using an inflatable raft to navigate a river or other bodies of water. This is usually done on white water or different degrees of rough water, in order to thrill and excite the raft passengers. The development of this activity as a leisure sport has become popular since the mid-1970s. Unfortunately because we have a toddler, only hubby will join the rafting while I'll stay with our toddler. At least, we'll be together as a family during this break.

As a family, we haven't had any fun family vacations spent away from home. Now that we already have a toddler, it would be nice if once in a while we could have a family getaway . I read from Fun Family Vacations about the author's brief trip to Singapore Zoo as a family. It's interesting to know that only at this zoo that animals navigate around very openly, plus they do not stay inside their hutches like some other animal theme parks. If this is the case, I would love to take pictures of these adorable animals and Hyzyd would surely love to see them!

The author also talks about fun places to go here in Thailand. Though I live in Thailand, I didn't get a chance to explore this country yet. There are many interesting posts you'll find in this site like Fun Family Vacations with Cool Price as well as Top Travel Packages for Newlyweds. Check them out and you'll never regret your time spent in reading these articles. In case you have a vacation or perhaps a tip to reveal, the author is inviting all of us to simply send him an email and he'll be happy to post them for you.

College Grants for Women

This is not a paid post. It's simply written to earn more points for the $300 Coach Bag Contest I've recently joined .

I finished BS in Agricultural Education. I could teach all levels of education including Agricultural Colleges. If I don't want to teach, I could also seek employment in Agricultural departments if I want too. If ever someone will offer me to pay for Masteral Studies, I would decline for it and instead ask that person to let me take another course. I would love to pursue another course which is either BS Biology or BS Chemistry. I love anything related to Science.

I've visited College Grant for Women and they shared informations about college grants that will help women pay for college. Whether you're a single mother, a minority, an abuse survivor, in a low-income household or are simply returning to your studies after a long respite, plenty of organizations offer money to single women and mothers so they can go to college.

I'm interested to avail a scholarship or grant but I don't fall to any aforementioned categories of women. I simply love to go back to college to take a second course , a course which is my first love. Do you think there's a College Grant for Women out there that would financially assist me to take a second course? If ever you know one , please advice.

Tuesday Couch Potatoes: Leap year

I really, really enjoyed this movie. My hubby can't help but watched with me because he noticed that I'm so "super-kilig" . It's a beautiful travelogue through Ireland with the infectious Amy Adams and the amazing (and underrated) Matthew Goode. Honestly, this is one of the best romantic comedies I have ever seen. It doesn't try to be more than it is, it's just simply a funny and uplifting story, very well told.

"Leap Year" is a delightful and innocent romantic comedy. The sweet and gorgeous Amy Adams shines in every scene and Matthew Goode shows a perfect chemistry with her. Mathew Goode was incredible as Declan! Made me want to head off to Ireland to find me a "leprechaun"...LOL! I love the looks that Declan gives, and he's so funny! As a girl I have to mention, this guy is amazingly cute...making a nice accent as well. I loved the story line! I have always loved love/hate relationships, and this one did not disappoint! This movie is a classic that I will cherish forever!

I can only recommend for all of you to watch this....love the idea of "what would you take with you in 60 seconds if there would be a fire"...

WATCH IT! And have fun...... Let the image and the tagline arouse your curiousity...he..he...
I think this movie will qualify as a Road film because the story unfolds while they're in road trip.

Bargain shopping works for me!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PBM Products. All opinions are 100% mine.

As we're visiting Philippines by next year, we are seriously maintaining our monthly savings goals in order to purchase airfare for three by October. We need also to set aside an amount to celebrate Hyzyd's 2nd birthday by the same month. Other expenses will include "pasalubong" (gifts for our family, relatives and friends) and more!

So what do we need to do in order to save more? Bargain shopping!!! I practiced loss leader sale watching in the meat department. There's always a fifty percent savings on a meat item we regularly buy. Other grocery items that tend to fall in the category of loss leaders on a regular basis include fresh produce, baking supplies, dairy products and canned goods.

These sales don't apply to just food items. Shampoos, deodorants, first aid products and a whole range of personal care items are discounted on a regular basis as well. Cleaning products are also heavily marked down periodically to entice you to try a new brand.

For our clothing, I consider quality of the cloth and design. We usually shopped at FQ and L Boutique. While that can cost a bit more even for just my husband and I, we needs to take seasonal sale watching on this product to a whole new level. FQ and L go on sale a few times a year, but one of the best times to snag a great price on them is June. We've bought a couple of jeans, shirts and other clothing accessories for fifty-percent off! Snagging a deal of this magnitude can make the difference in our family between either putting nutritious food on the table or even being able to replace necessary clothing items at all!

More than just a way to save money on medical costs, going generic is also a great strategy for saving money on all sorts of things, from ink and art supplies to shampoo and groceries. If clipping coupons isn't in my schedule yet, or I'm just too overwhelmed to keep up with it at any point, switching to generics in general is an easy way for us to go to save money. Many grocery store chains here in Hatyai City have their own generic food lines now, including Tops Supermarket, Tesco Lotus , Big C and Carrefour. When I started considering this route few months ago, I'm very surprised at the variety of options available to us-marinades, ice cream, bistro style appetizers, gourmet pasta, organic food items, dairy products and more are available in generic equivalents. I'm looking for store brand formula though but haven't find any.

When I read the article about 10 Products to Always Buy Generic,I couldn't agree more! I've found a few generics to be far superior to name brand items. As stated in the article, don't commit to a major quantity of any generic. Try it in the smallest amount first. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Tambourine Dancing

I always dream to learn tambourine dancing and that dream will be realized soon...*excited*....

I never thought that it's not yet too late for me to learn tambourine dancing. Thanks be to God that a He's sending someone from Philippines to come over here inThailand to teach us...*grin*. She's been singing and dancing for the Lord since she's a little child and when she saw that the church where we fellowshipped has lots of tambourines kept in a basket, she volunteered to teach tambourine dancing . We started our practice last Saturday and so far so good! We hope to showcase what we've practiced during the church's anniversary this coming August!

I love dancing for God. Dance is a praise and worship offering to the Lord and response to being in the presence of the Almighty. Dance is creative and reflects our Master Creator from whom creativity originates. Playing the round tambourine drum as a percussion instrument and combining dance movements constitutes a powerful and unique expression which reflects upon the end-time celebration in heaven.

In tambourine dancing, each series of movement and tappings of beats of a particular routine or choreography is called "pattern". All patterns are given a title, a key scripture verse and an explanation along a choreography diagram and detailed instructions. A specific Biblical principle is assigned to each pattern much like a word is correlated to a hand motion in a sign language. When we play our tambourines and dance we are declaring God's Word in our lives and in the earth. Ephesians 6:17 states that the sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. Thus, our tambourines and dancing with them becomes a visible prophetic sign of wielding, as a sword, God's truth.
P.S. Photos of our practice and show (if ever) will be uploaded next time:)

our bundle of joy will be turning 2!

Thanks God that our little boy Hyzyd is perfectly fine today- no more fever, no more cough and no more colds. He woke up in a good mood and didn't cry when we left him this morning with his nanny. Watching him today waving goodbye to us I couldn't help but noticed how time flies fast. Three more months and we'll celebrate his 2nd birthday.

Yes, a 2-year-old child's birthday is a milestone. To mark this milestone, I'm planning an exciting celebration full of birthday surprises though I'll just keep it a small affair. One important advantage of a small party is that there will not be too many guests and we can avoid a chaotic situation, isn't it?

I'm perfectly fine with a simple party with balloon and ribbons but selecting a theme will make it all the more enjoyable, don't you think? Hyzyd has started to recognize different types of animals, I think having an animal theme party will be a great idea. Other themes that are popular for two year old kids are train birthday party, cartoon character birthday party, pirate birthday party, halo 3 party in Halo Costumes, etc.

I would apprciate if you could give me your brilliant ideas on how to make Hyzyd's natal day a memorable one.

Pampered motorbike

It's been raining here every afternoon for four consecutive days. For those four days hubby always fetched me with his wet clothes...*sigh*...I asked him why he didn't use his raincoat? He replied that it's left at home or else in school because he was always caught midway. He thought it's not going to rain because when he left the school , the weather is fine and then when he's already half-way to fetch me, there the rain just poured heavily. Oh poor dear! With this scenario, I can't help but wish that we could buy our own car ASAP! With car, he will be safe and protected anytime and anywhere. He will never get drenched again!

For the moment we'll just be satisfied with our motobike. It's been serving us for more than 2 years already. Regular maintenance of our motorcycle is necessary to ensure that it is in top shape every time we use it. That is why hubby always check it after we take it for a ride. I noticed that he scheduled a regular monitoring after using our bike. He even mentioned to me the other day that we need to invest in high quality motorcycle cover to protect it from external factors especially that it's constantly raining these days. It will keep our motorcycle warm. He also discussed to me about building his own air intakes to ensure proper engine as well. I'm not so sure about that so I'll just give him my permission to do what he thinks best for our motorcycle. As what most riders say, if you take care of your bike, it will take care of you.

Runaway teacher

...that's how I described myself today- I leave the school quickly in order to avoid the deafening voice of the emcee echoing in the entire school campus. It's the school's Sports' Day and instead of joining them, we're having classes with my K-1 and K-2 students. Why can't we just join the rest of the gang and cheered with them? Why are we having classes and at the same time forcing ourselves to endure the shoutings, cheerings, drums beating and the emcee's voice over the mega phone? My eardrum's aching and it seems ready to burst...*sigh*....
Thanks for this internet cafe just a minute away from school. At least now I'm away from school, I'm away from the NOISE...I can now rest...I can now blog in an airconditioned room...*grin*...It's lunch time but I will just settle with my sliced papaya and mango with milk tea that I grabbed while coming here.

Tuesday Couch Potatoes: Sydney White

My apology to Marce Kikamz for not joining TCP for several weeks because of our recent moving- there's still no internet connection and there are still lots of clutters that needs my attention. Anyway, I have free time after lunch so here I am joining again.

I could give you Sydney White if you want a movie that is just an easy-going chick flick with a nice message and decent humor. It got 7-8 hearty laughs out of me. There's a fun concept going on here. It's short and sweet. Oh, did I mention the likable characters? If you're a nervous parent with a kid (especially a daughter) begging to see a movie before the next family, friendly film comes out then I suggest to send them off to Sydney White. It's the closest you'll get to "wholesome" . It's not a kid's movie though so for you teens biting your nails over this, can just sit back and enjoy. It deserves a chance. Go in with an open mind. So if you walk out disappointed, odds are you hate 90% of all good chick flicks or you tried to hate it. And if you're somebody who's still got the bitter taste in your mouth from the crude, rude and dumb comedies such as Mr. Woodcock and Good Luck Chuck than Sydney White will be a predictable, yet harmless good time at the movies to make it better.

Sydney White stars popular actress Amanda Bynes (one of my favorite young actresses) as the new girl in an elite college sorority. The Kappa Sisterhood is made up of a group of size 2 beautiful clones, all praising their mean-spirited leader, Rachel Witchburn (Sara Paxton).

As Sydney's popularity rises, Rachel begins to feel threatened by her. And so begins a story of rejection; acceptance and love. Sydney meets the handsome Beta fraternity leader Tyler (Matt Long) who is besotted by the good-natured Sydney.

With seven new geeky friends in the vortex house, Sydney decides to run for student president. Some good clean comedy ensues. Sydney White is a teen girl's dream movie; lots of romanticised idealism and a warm-fuzzy ending .

It's definitely a girl movie, I'll give you that, so if you can't put up with the silliness and the cheesiness, you will not enjoy it. But if you're a girl looking for a cute movie with a lot of harmless fun, this will hit the spot. This is one I will definitely buy on DVD and watch when I need something light and fun.

Not the most artistic of film making and not a whole lot of focus on in-depth characters and originality, but as a former teenage girl, I will happily give this adorable little film 8/10 for sheer sweetness, a good heart, and a passion for doing the right thing. Sometimes we just need that girly spunk.

My place of solitude

Since last week (our preliminary test week) , our faculty room is a busy place where things feel like they are moving at breakneck speed. This involves avalanche of test papers and workbooks to be checked!

In the midst of this extreme busyness, I sometimes feel the need to escape, to decompress. My response? To create a quiet place. I retreat to the quiet of our internet room. I read latest news , currents events and even star news to entertain myself. I sometimes visited forums like Pinoy forums, teacher forums and even lipozene forum to ask question and get advice. In visiting forums, I gained a wealth of quality informationnot to mention that forums could also serve as excellent link popularity boosters. If I don't like to be in front of the computer, I just listen to music, think, pray-and be refreshed.

In my fast-paced days, it is essential for me to find a place of solitude, a place of quiet rest, near to the heart of God. How about you? Where's your place of solitude?

Girl's Talk: Financially Speaking...

Girls Talk

Oh my, my Fashion Explorer is down today so instead of posting there about my Girl's Talk entry, let me just post my entry here in my personal blog.

Let's talk about "financial-side of me". I'm working full-time as a teacher. My hubby is a teacher too and we're both working here in Thailand. Some of you may think that we're earning "MUCH" because we're working abroad. The truth is, we're not earning that MUCH. But thanks be to God that we're earning enough to survive , enough to send allowance to our parents, send a little amount for siblings who are celebrating birthdays and enough to pay for our rent, our baby's nanny, baby's visit to hospital, water bills, electric bills , telephone and internet bills. Honestly, we're still struggling to save because we have acquired some debt but we've finally settled our debt this month so hopefully next month we could start saving up for our vacation plan for Philippines next year.

After receiving our salary every month, we'll pay all our bills, set aside our monthly allowance for groceries and monthly allowance for each of our needs and personal wants. It's up to us to buy whatever we want with our allowance. It's our way of treating ourselves after a month-loaded work. That's the time I could buy my clothes from my favorite boutique (only if they're offering 50% sale...he..he...) , shoes, make-up , hair accessories and I consider buying wrinkle cream in the near future..he..he... Our baby has his own allowance too to buy his toys, books and clothes. We're saving some of it for his 2nd birthday celebration on October.

I'm earning from my blog too but not more than $100 a month. This is where I get my budget for my Artscow's orders and online buying.

Financially speaking, we're doing OK but I'm hoping to have a breakthrough in terms of SAVINGS. We're still working on it and we hope to be successful starting this year.

Feeling at home

Our latest "moving" is the easiest I experienced. We're able to purchase boxes so we're able to keep our things in order. Unlike before, we only put our things in sacks...LOL! It's a total mess, I tell you. We just rented our friend's pick-up car so we don't pay much compared to the expenses incurred if we hired a moving company to transport our things. I could say that after two recent moving since last year, this is the "one"! I finally feel at home with our new place.

I would love to share to you a photo of our new place but we still don't have internet connection at home so I'll just show you later (about 7-10 days). As I said, I felt at home with our new place because it brings me to my childhood memories- wooden floor upstairs reminds me of my grandparents place where I love to lie down on their wooden floor and the blue flowery curtains reminds me of my grandma. She used to sew curtains and I love helping her put on curtains on their windows.

We're not yet done unpacking our things especially our clothes. This weekend, I need to iron them all and fold some of them while hang the ones we'll use for work and church. We still need to prepare the other room for Hyzyd. We plan to let him practice sleeping in his own bed in his own bedroom. I want a special room for our little boy, so I'm looking online for ideas and inspiration. For our own bedroom (it's larger than our living room), I plan to purchase treadmills or any refurbished fitness equipment to get in shape and stay in shape. If I'll have it in the comfort of my own room, won't I be motivated to lose weight, maintains good health and will look great in a bathing suit?

Anyway, I'm just happy and relax that we've finally found our home and we are finally in a fresh place-a place farther from the city proper and farther from pollution.

We're moving today

Yeah, you read it right. We gonna move today so I'll be gone temporarily in the blogosphere. It may take a week or more before our telephone and internet account will be transferred to our new residence. Maybe I could update this blog and my other blogs once in a while during my lunch break at school.

Moving is tedious and I hope this will be our last move here in Thailand. Hope we'll finally be at home in this place. It's way better and cheaper than our current house and more "friendly" for our lil boy.

See yah!

Scouting for a health insurance for Hyzyd

Living here in Thailand is not quite easy for us. Language barrier is the main issue here. Because of this factor, we're not yet able to get a health insurance for our Hyzyd. I need to ask our minister's wife who speaks English fluently if she could help us find a Healthcare Insurance providers here in Thailand that caters the expatriate community or a family healthcare insurance. I would love to avail one , expensive or cheap insurance as long as it could aid us in times that we'll need it.

Nothing feels better for parents than to see their kids growing healthy in a good environment and their basic needs are met such as medical care that's why its important that we could obtain health insurance for Hyzyd. As much as possible we want only the best for our kid to be able to function well in the community he lives in and to fulfill his educational and employment opportunities in the next years to come. By obtaining health insurance for Hyzyd, he is very much protected.

Here are 5 importance of getting health insurance for my kid and yours too:

1.According to studies conducted on children, those who have health insurance for children are most likely to become active and perform well in school.
2.Children who have health insurance are also likely to get the best health care or medical treatment that they need whenever required and as toddlers, they are given the proper immunizations.
3.According to the studies conducted by the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and National Center for Health Services Research (NCHSR), children with asthma and ear infections never consulted a doctor because they do not have health insurance plans.
4.Insured children are also likely to visit the dentist regularly for dental and preventive care.
5.Health insurance for children is very important for kids to grow up healthy and be able to function well in their respective communities. These are just some benefits that they will get when they have proper health insurance for children.
How about you? Do your children have health insurance already?

If Tyra can do it, why can't I?

I used to watch America's Next Top Model when I was still pregnant in year 2008. Tyra Banks isn't as skinny as before. I think she gained about 30lb with her usual weight and ballooned to a size 14-16.As a model, the alteration of her figure was noticed by everybody. But still she's sexy and still carries herself with much confidence even she had faced an onslaught of international criticism, being branded Tyra Pork Chop and headlines that said 'America's Next Top Waddle', when she was famously pictured in 2007 looking heavier than normal in an unflattering swimsuit on holiday.

Last night, I watched at Youtube the latest cycle of ANTM and I can't help noticing that she Tyra really slimmed down! The America's Next Top Model host has slimmed down from a size 14-16! I really dug out her secret on what she did to get back her slim body. I'm thinking that she took some slimming pills like clinicallix or fat burners like lipozene but she never mentioned any of that. She just chucked out the bacon bits and ice cream for a healthier diet and rigorous workout regime and voila, look at her now! She's slimmer and more confident than ever! She's an inspiration! If she can do it, why can't I?...he..he...

Have you tried slimming coffee?

I used to be skinny, so skinny that I even took appetite stimulant like the propan vitamins so that I'll gain weight . But now, I was doing my best to lose weight, shed off my tummy fats and be slimmer again. I kinda envy my Thai co-teachers who came back to school after 45 days of maternity leave and looks like so slim and sexy. It seems that they haven't just give birth because the curves we're there, firm tummy and no excess fats! It seems unbelievable but it's a common sight here in Hatyai City. My friend said, after giving birth they drink slimming tea or coffee that works like clinicallix-the strongest weight loss diet pill on today's market.

I think I'll try that slimming coffee or tea. Last night when I went to Tops Supermarket, they have free testing of that slimming coffee. It only cost 120 THB ($3.70) per dozen. I update you later if it really works.

Celebs have acne too!

I just posted a while ago that celebrities were not overly perfect and they're like us suffering pimples and acne too! We seldom see photos of them with their imperfect skin conditions because they've already undergone acne treatments with their own dermatologists, right?

I once read an article about "Celebrities with Acne" and it's interesting to know from an anonymous writer on why Justin Timberlake prefers to sit in the shade, avoids the sun in most cases, and prefers to occasionally visit the beach. The reason? He's been taking Accutane to avoid acne breakouts. As a young adult, the *NSYNC star suffered from pimples in his teenage years and today goes to all extincts to avoid breakouts. Most cases he keeps a strict and healthy diet, drinks minimum 8 classes of water and keeps very minimal consumption of alcohol (most clubs lately he drinks only water bottles) Under accutane prescription the young Hollywood store is set to only occasionally receive limited sun exposure. This answers my question before on why Justin looks pale all the time.

Other celebrities who suffered and overcame acne are Britney Spears, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Simpson, and even Brad Pitt! Their skin may appear flawless on the red carpet and in magazine spreads because they have the advantage of having a team of make-up artists on staff to help them put their best face forward. They didn't speak openly about their battle with acne, but they acknowledged their struggles with the condition.

Do you feel a lot more happier to know that even the celebs go through what we go through? I dogelakguling.

I did overcome my acne!

I used to be a victim of acne when I'm in 2nd year college. I remembered that it all started when I used Chin chun su facial cream which my mother used. It was my first time actually to finally use a cream on my face but I wish I hadn't! They said using that cream will normally result with acne breakout for few days and after a week all of them will be gone. They're wrong! I suffered acne for a year and my once flawless face were scarred for a lifetime merajuk.

What did I do to cure my acne? I didn't take any acne medicine. I think most of us undergoing the puberty stage experience pimples, acne and other skin problems because of changes in body hormones. I just try to maintain a healthy diet, drink at least 8 glasses of water each day and less soda.

Did you know that when I suffer acne before, I take comfort in knowing that there are a number of celebrities (Britney Spears, Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake to name a few) who overcame their acne and have gone on to achieve great success. If they can keep their self confidence in the face of unrelenting paparazzi snapping their every move, I certainly can face the awkward situations in my life, realizing I'm so much more than the skin condition on my face sengihnampakgigi.

Thank God I didn't have acne anymore but acne scars will stay with me for a lifetimerindu.
