We moved...and we'll moved again!

It doesn’t mean that when we moved, we moved to a better place. Honestly, it’s the contrary. We left our apartment with two bedrooms (the master bedroom is with aircon unit and a “mirror wall”), two comfort rooms, spacious garage, wide balcony and water-metered system to an inferior one. After a year of living in an expensive apartment, we decided that’s it’s now the time to save more. Moving in a cheaper apartment could be a great help. We moved last November 1, 2009 to an apartment with a rental fee of almost half the price of the previous one (later did I know, it also means “half” the comfort…sigh….). Much to my dismay, the place is infested with mosquitoes and termites, noisy neighbor (why didn’t I noticed before that the apartment next to us is a carpenter’s shop that loves to work until midnight? ), worm-filled comfort room (it can’t be a comfort room anymore!) and an electric water pump (I overlooked this important thing because I thought that once you live in a city all water system is “metered”…) . It consumed a lot of electricity once we turned it on.

I don’t want to blame myself or anyone for this decision that we’ve made. I know I’ve learned a lesson in a hard way, it’s better to deal with it. Maybe, we had made our decision in a hasty way and we forgot to wait upon God’s direction. But if I turn on the other side, God only allows these things so that we’ll find the perfect house/apartment for us. You see, if we haven’t moved here, we’ll miss the opportunity of finding a new apartment one apartment away from us. It happens that the owner of that house used to be my church mate before at a Christian church where I used to fellowship. He visited our apartment once and talked to my sis-in-law (who was staying with us for a while after she gave birth) about his new apartment and his plan to have the water system be run on meter. My SIL relayed to us the message and we’re quite excited about it so my hubby called on him and necessary arrangement were made.

Yes, definitely we’ll move again after 2-3 weeks after the electricity line and water system will be installed and connected. We already notified our internet/telephone provider to move our old account to this new address. I can’t wait! Though it only has one room, it’s fine with us. There’s more ventilation on it compared here. The floor is tiled as well as in the lavatory. I’m grateful for God for the favor. He sees what’s best for us. About the rental fee? It’s a bit higher (just 500 baht more) but it’s worth it.

Another thing that I like about our new place is that it’s just 3-5 minutes walk to Diana Mall and to the city’s park. I could go there doing our grocery shopping with Hyzyd anytime we want without waiting for my dear to send us there. On Saturdays, we could just walk with Hyzyd on stroller to Diana’s Skippy’s Wonderland to let my son play. Anytime we want we could watch at the cinema or go bowling. I could check anytime of the day if bags and shoes are on sale! LOL!

Hopefully, I’ll be back online by December and at that time I’ll be wiser in spending my time. As of now, I enjoy reading the Bible. God is teaching me new things and I enjoy His new teachings and new facts I discovered in the Bible.
